The 18th Annual Research Symposium and Mentoring Conference took place on October 29, 2016 and was full day of simultaneous events including dynamic keynote speakers, informative workshops, an undergraduate poster competition, graduate oral competition, graduate school fair and an awards luncheon to close out the event by celebrating the great achievements of students from Philadelphia AMP schools and Alliance partner schools. The event was a wonderful opportunity for students to participate in professional development, develop strong networking ties with peers and mentors, and practice the art of scientific presentation.
